Using Facebook Fans To Drive More Traffic To Your Website

Facebook has become one of the most popular and widely used social platforms over the period of time. This platform went viral a long time back, with a good number of connected people sharing their thoughts, photos, videos and a lot many other things with each other. The Facebook friends usually link to the content they find interesting and this helps in deriving the friends to explore the link within no time. This amazing platform has added innovative features and apps for enhancing the overall socializing experience of the users. The latest timeline feature has completely transformed the user interface and has provided a good number of opportunities to the users too. One of the best benefits of the new feature is the enhanced flexibility of driving more traffic to the website.

It is quite important to know that when a person clicks the like button, it is automatically posted on his/her wall and is considered as a feed. This feed is then available to the user's friends, who can further like the page and promote the same through their profile. The more number of friends one have the more will be the reach of a single post through the profile. Therefore, it can serve to be one of the finest methods of social media marketing.

Due to a widespread reach, one has to be quite careful about taking the products and services to a certain extent. There needs to be an element of honesty in the page or the opinion you are intending to spread over the social media platform. These days, a good number of celebrities make use of Twitter for tweeting anything and everything, but a good number of these tweets are not genuine. Indeed there are some other people who manage their accounts and post on their behalf. However, now there are various sponsored tweets wherein the celebrities are provided a certain sum for promoting a product or service via their tweet.

With a good number of celebrity posts, this may derive a good amount of traffic as people are likely to be swayed to the tweeted website. However, the unknown celebrity will not be able to provide much of social signal as the friends will be capable to do. The opinion of the know friends would be more respected than that of an unknown celebrity. Therefore, it becomes essential to share honest links and opinions through the Facebook profile in order to avail maximum benefits of social media marketing.

Social media marketing is one of the best tools for creating a buzz around and can help in deriving a good amount of genuine traffic in a cost effective and less time consuming manner. Using Facebook as the main medium of promoting a product or service can be one of the healthiest ways of promoting the business. It can be used as the best medium for marketing a business and driving more traffic towards the website in a genuine manner.

3 Tips On How To Generate Free Traffic With Article Marketing Techniques

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The majority of internet marketers have had a hard time putting their finger on how to generate free traffic with article marketing techniques. Most of the time they settle for the basics, and receive little traffic for their hours of effort.

In this article I'm going to cover three simple techniques you can use this month and produce tons of free traffic in 30 days or less.

But before I do that, let me get real honest with you...

Article marketing takes a lot of work. All before you even know if you are going to get a result. You might plow through 2 weeks of effort before you even start to breakthrough and find out what doesn't work.

This is when you will be tested, and the people who pass this test, are the ones who are awarded with gobs of money.

Simply put, my advice to you is to not quit when you get frustrated.

Now that we got that out of the way let's get into the 3 tips to generating free traffic with article marketing.

1. Keep your own gold - One of the only advantages you have when you are starting to market online, is your uniqueness. Nobody can write or talk like you, you are your own voice.

If you believe this, then why would you take your articles and post them on other peoples' website just so you can get a few visitors here and there. You are basically donating gold to others when you do this.

Always put your articles on your own website. This should be more apparent now more than ever. With the new updates Google has come out with, they straight up telling us that they are looking for content that is unique.

Plus, putting content on your website gives you the ability to start showing up on Google and getting residual traffic for years to come.

To this day, I have websites that get thousands of hits that I started years ago. All because I put my articles on my own websites.

2. Length Is Key - Have you ever spent some time reading the top blogs on the internet?

What you will find that they all have in common, is the length of their posts. A majority of them are 1000 words or more.

In my personal experience to get a significant amount of visitors from Google you have to make your article at least 600 words or more, period!

A few years ago writing 350 word articles was OK, and most of them showed up in search results. But today short articles just don't have enough juice to bring in visitors.

Now, by adding this length to your articles it should never compromise the quality.

You should always look to add value to the reader, if you can't do that you shouldn't be writing.

What I like to do if I get stuck at a certain length, is go more in-depth on my main points.

So if I have a total of 3 main points in my article, i will add 2 more sentences to each. Giving the reader more depth on each topic and adding 250 or more words to my article.

3. Syndication Sucks - Contrary to popular belief by the guru's, syndicating your content to multiple article directories does nothing but hurt you. Yes, 3 years ago this worked like gangbusters for bringing in tons of traffic.

Today Google will slap you like a red-headed step child.

Also follow my golden rule of putting your articles on your own websites. Stop trying to cheat and use 1 piece of content everywhere.

If you are going to syndicate anything, syndicate the link to your blog/website. This will build backlinks to your article and give it some juice in the natural search results.

You can also send out your link to all the social websites, which will bring in some visitors quickly.

If you follow these simple 3 tips you can easily generate thousands of visitors to any website.

How To Get Free Traffic And Explode Your Profits

If you've got anything for sale online, then traffic is everything. Without traffic, you might as well be giving away money. If nobody comes to your site, then nobody is going to find out what an incredible offer you've got. If you're just starting out, and you can't really afford to pay for traffic, then you've got to get it for free.

Article marketing is probably the oldest method of doing this. The idea is simple. You write an article, publish it on as many sites as will let you, and wait for traffic. Because the sites you publish your articles on will have plenty of traffic already, hopefully some of it will make it to your article. If your article is any good, people will click on the link at the bottom to find out more.

The more articles you write, the more free traffic you'll get. Sounds like a perfect idea, right? Well, if you've got a long time, it works. Unlike paid traffic, which can get you plenty of targeted visitors hungry to buy in as little as an hour, article marketing takes time. A large portion of your traffic is going to be dependent on how well your articles rank in the search engines. And with all the new algorithms being put out, this is harder than ever to calculate ahead of time.

Which brings us to our next method of free traffic. Ranking in the search engines. When you use article marketing, you kind of get two for one. On the one hand, you'll get plenty of traffic from the articles themselves. On the other hand, the backlinks from the article directories will help you rank in Google and the other search engines. The more backlinks you've got, the higher you'll rank.

Other sources of free traffic are social media. This can be hit or miss. Remember, when people read your article or find your site in Google, they are kind of looking for that particular information. However, when they come across your site on Facebook or Twitter, they are really just killing time. When people have a pressing problem, they generally don't turn to Twitter or Facebook to solve it. They turn to Google or another search engine, and type in a specific question.

That's why Facebook has been a disappointment, from a business standpoint. It sounded like a great idea, but it turns out the ads on Facebook aren't converting nearly as well as ads on Google. That's why Facebook stock is in the tank, while Google is continually hitting all time highs on increasing earnings every quarter.

So while you can get traffic from Twitter and Facebook, it won't convert nearly as well as traffic from article marketing or the search engines. If you are just starting out, this is where you should focus most of your efforts.

To make sure you're squeezing as much money as possible from every single visitor, you need a high performance landing page that will convert as many people as possible. To find out more, please visit http://copywritesolutions.net/ezine-landing/ today.

Why You Shouldn't Focus Your Efforts On Social Media Traffic

Yes, you've heard all those gurus saying that anybody who is anybody is using social media to drive traffic to your site and make tons of money. Bloggers that focus on building a huge following use social media primarily to attract traffic to their site, build their lists, and make their millions. If you aren't leveraging traffic from Digg and Reddit, then you might as well give up. Right?

Wrong.

First of all, lets discuss some sales terms. A lead is somebody who is somewhat interested in your product. A cold lead is somebody who doesn't even know your product exists. A warm lead has some kin of desire for your product. A hot lead is somebody who has a desire, has already taken their money out of their pocket, and wants to buy something.

Obviously, if you are selling stuff online, the warmer the lead, the better. This is true in all sales. Nobody wants to cold call people and try to persuade them first that they have a need and second that they should do something about it, and third that they should buy the product from you. This takes a lot of time, involves a lot of rejection, and won't generate much sales.

Depending on your sales model, though, and how long your sales funnel is, you might have no choice but to start out with cold leads. This is generally what advertising does. It presents your message to as many cold leads as possible, and identifies the warm ones among them. The warm ones then contact you, and find out about your product. These people are a lot easier to sell to.

In the world of online marketing, any lead that comes to your website from a search engine is a warm lead. Anybody that comes from a paid ad is going to be an even warmer lead.

But what about people that come from social media? Compared to search engine traffic, these people are pretty cold. When they've seen your information on the various social media sites, they weren't in the problem solving mind set. Think about this for a minute. Most people visit those sites for entertainment. It's like watching TV. When you sit down to watch TV at night, are you hoping to see an ad that will solve a problem you've got? Probably not.

If you've got a problem you need solved, or a product you want to buy, you'll likely crack open the phone book.

Does that mean that people don't sell anything from TV ads? Certainly not. There are tons of infomercial precisely because they make money. But those are big productions. They are thirty minutes long, and are designed to get as many viewers as possible, and convert a small percentage of them.

But think about this. At most, people have a couple hundred channels on cable. Of those, there's probably only twenty channels they watch regularly. So when they come across an infomercial, it's really only competing against those other twenty channels for your attention.

Compare this to somebody coming across your tweet or Facebook page. There's literally billions of other pages they could go to. This makes it much less likely they are going to be convinced by your message to come and buy your product. Sure, it might get you some traffic, and they might sign up for your email list if you've got something juicy to give them in exchange from their email address, but will they ever buy anything?

For all the time people spend getting Twitter and other free traffic, don't you think you'd be much better off finding the warm leads, rather than trying to convert a bunch of cold leads?

Whatever amount of traffic you are getting, you can use it to dramatically improve your sales with a custom landing page.
